Around 10 months ago we were blessed with a little angel. The first time , doctors called me to see her I could believe it. It was the best thing that ever happened to us. From my childhood, I have loved kids. But never thought of the moment when our kid will be born. So when our little angel's first glimpse arrived, I just could not control myself. The emotions were not controllable and people around me had become invisible.

I never wanted to wake up from this moment but when the baby cried , I just woke up. The doctors were trying to play with her seeing my uncontrollable emotions. As I thought that this moment should have never ended, I realized that is upto me to make each upcoming moment more memorable as parenthood experience progressed.

Unfortunately the work commitment gave me only weekends to play with her. But most of the time, I was heavily dependent on my better half to manage any activities of the baby. I felt low since I realized many a times that the baby was not comfortable with me. But with the support of better half , I kept trying.

Finally on this day, I was not only able to give the baby a good bath but also had a chance to decorate her. My each moment and action, made the baby smile. This smile just wiped out all the nervousness that I had and I guess the bonding increased. When I saw the phone , I just picked up the phone and clicked the selfie. This moment has just not only captured the joyful moment but thought me that parenting is blissful experience

Selfie experience do capture rare moments many a times but for me this moment is frozen and i am thankful to the almighty. For me this smiling picture of baby (We call our angel 'Amaira') is one of those moments when i successfully graduated from parenting 101 with minimal support from my better half

As a look at this selfie photo and cherish those moments, i wonder if a Selfie-Centric Smartphone like http://mobiistar.in/ can help me in capturing the upcoming beautiful moments much better as our little princess grows up and enriches our parenting experience. When i glanced through the features of Mobiistar Selfie Star series smartphone, i noticed some of the very important features which can further enrich my <span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "open sans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Selfie experience as below
universities in state & foreign universities) could provide useful

genuine interest to study abroad is the utmost and an important factor that
needs to arise from the individual. The individual needs to confirm, his/her area
of study that includes the subject, country, colleges etc. The best could be to
draw a plan and google basic information. The university websites generally
host all the course related information and various application requirements on
their website. The individual is expected to make a thorough study by reading
their website and then followed by the potential interaction with the graduate
student office/faculty for any specific queries or discuss projects. The
student is also expected to write a basic research proposal in line with
departmental research interests and strengths.

preparing your applications, personalize your cover letters to address the
specific requirements of the course of study or job. Ironically as a post-doc,
I served as one of the coordinator for the same master program in neuroscience
that I took after moving to Germany. It is essential to personalize your cover
letter. Universities which are accepting international students receive a lot
of applications all over the world. It is difficult for the committee members
to judge and rate the applicants based on their grades because the scoring
system varies from country to country. Thus your cover letter is very
essential. It should emphasize your strengths relevant to the course. You would
need academic transcripts from the registrar office which gives details of the
grades and the scoring system.

In the holy town of Haridh, there lived a boy kitu with this father. Kitu had lost most of this family to water born disease during an epidemic that occurred in this village. The river from which the water was sourced was contaminated by a disease and before government authorities could act many people lost their lives.

Today the villages with the government have taken precaution. Also the ladies do not have to travel with pots on their head to fetch drinkable water. Rather the government has provided taps in the holy city so the water is delivered at home.

Kitu loved water the most since most of his childhood stories where either revolved around water or his maximum time spent with his mother was when she was doing household work near river.

Kitu’s parents had instilled a strong thought him in that ‘the future is a reflection of actions that we take today’. So when kitu saw people in his village abusing water, he used to feel very devastated.

Though in his school, it was told to him clearly that ‘As access to drinkable water becomes an ever-increasing worldwide encounter, all humans have an chance to be the most powerful game-changers in safeguarding water for upcoming groups”
He spent many days and hours to tell everybody to take care of water but no one cared. His friends in the class also seem to have ignored his plea to join him in educating adults in the village. With the help of his teacher, he showed villagers different ways of saving water like turning the tap off during bathing or washing clothes. But people didn't care.

Couple of months later, on a hot summer morning, kitu woke up and discovered that there was no water! As he stepped out, he noticed all the villagers were distraught with the fact there was no water to drink, to wash or do any other tasks. On one hand , he had a joy that people will now realize the importance of water but he was also worried now what will happen.
All of us were very scared. People of the village started arriving at hour home and wondered if I had any idea on how the water can come back. Kitu enlightened and repeated how important it is to save water and everyone in the village need to take care of it. Having no water for their everyday events convinced all the villages on what kitu had always tried to communicate to them.

Everyone wondered now what. With the help of government and nearby villages, drinking water arrived next day. Some doctors also advised people to take pills so that the need to drink water will disappear. At first people laughed at this idea, but as days passed the pills seemed to have become a death saving medicine.

My dad suggested to all the villagers that we should perform pooja to appease Indra who is the god of rains. I remember he telling me that the 'The law of karma which recommends that with divine intervention through prayers, rituals, and good deeds, it is possible to appease gods'. People seemed to have caught this new fad of appeasing gods. I could see many rituals performed in the village to appease gods. All the god were being requested to shower their blessings in the form of rains.
Eventually the rain gods did turn up and people got for the first time the taste of fresh water. Today the volume of water in the village has increased and our village has become the brand ambassador of water saving.
Chapter 1 - Why Vitamin E became part of my life

Myself : As a kid i had lot of problems with dandruff. This problem stopped me from wearing favorite black color shirts . My friends also misbehaved and it was impacting my confidence a lot. But apart from this external troubles, itching caused by the dandruff was more painful. I was making a fool of myself. The doctor we consulted tried lot of medicines. But the most effective solution was Vitamin E oil that helped reduced the itching and scaling a lot. Though the problem of dandruff has reduced a lot since then but i can never forget the moment when i stopped scratching my scalp in public places with the help of this oil. You will always find this oil in my kit and my family knows the important help this oil has provided me till date

Family:I have been very close to my grandfather. But when he started
aging he had the problem of forgetting and loss of vision. In his last year, he had even
hard time remembering who i was. Doctors called it Alzheimer
disease. When my grandmother died she also had a similar problem. But it never bothered me since i was small. But my parents had become strong with this experience of grandmother. So when i got impacted due to my grand father illness my dad controlled me and used to tell me his learning's from the past. We could not help much but i was at-least getting consoled. So when i heard that Vitamin E can slow down progression of Alzheimer
disease, i had a heartful satisfaction that many children in this world will hopefully not have go through the pain of loosing their close family member due to Alzeimer disease.

On the
way to airport to drop my parents, i encountered a child selling clamps at the
signal. With the intention to help, i approached her and finally bought it
without bargain.

My parents sitting behind me were surprised on
how i will cook it , since i never cooked any thing in my life apart from dal
and rice. But my mom decided to use the time remaining to drive the airport to
write all the instructions for cooking it.

i guess the biggest hurdle was cleaning it which
i managed by calling another friend since mom and dad were not reachable.

But in the end the dish turned out to be
delicious. As i researched more, i realized that clamps are actually good
for health

First overseas travel is always special in the life. Excitement and joy of the first travel can never match the energy levels during other trips.

My first overseas trip happened to be in land of Uncle Sam. Fighting all constraints , fighting with the bosses (internal politics , visa constraints , strong case for young techy to land in-front of experienced executives etc ) OR over-hours in office to ensure my outcome exceeds expectation OR fighting internally with queue of wait listed people, I was finally about to land in USA - FLORIDA.

But as with all first timers ( I guess), in the last minute I had messed up lot of things. The biggest miss was that i had forgot to get any CURRENCY notes. As a stop gap arrangement, my company arranged to source the CURRENCY card recharged at one of the money exchange counters at airport. They also did some arrangement so that i can get some actual CURRENCY notes.

Standing in the long queue, I noticed an elderly couple standing besides me. Out of Courtesy, I decided to give them a way. They were surprised at my gesture and the people behind them looked at me hoping as if I had gone mad.

It was a long queue and for some reason it was moving slow. Unlike India were people stand as if they will climb on the people in-front, in this line people had maintained sufficient distance. People were calmly standing. The lady at the counter was slowly executing her work. Though it was annoying, I was trying to distract myself from thinking about the slow pace of her work.

But as a saying goes 'you can only be a lion in your own area', I was patiently waiting in a foreign land. It was more disturbing to watch the elderly couple waiting in the queue. They were shivering. I decided to take the matters in my hand and approached the lady at the counter.

She frowned at me and ignored me. I knocked at the door. This annoyed her and she immediately yelled at me and called security. I was shocked. Dressed in blue (I assume they were COPS or security) , some people just came in and asked me what was happening.

Before I could answer, they asked me to show my passport. After going through my documents, they just asked me what the problem was. I explained to them that I wanted the lady at the counter to help the 'elderly couple' first so that they do not suffer more. The COP smiled after hearing me and just went away.

I was surprised. He just asked me to go back and stand in the line. By this time, I was the villain for the whole crowd. I apologetically stood in the queue.

After five minutes, the cop was back with another person dressed in a suit and introduce me to him. The person (the manager of this shop) first of all thanked me for being concerned about other citizens and loudly clapped for me (the COP joined him).

Suddenly everybody smiled. The manager then said 'sometimes the cultures' make a great difference and such positive from different cultures are welcome in american society. He also made it a point to explain the whole scenario to people standing there. Suddenly I turned from a villian to a HERO and people were cheering for me.

I was amazed that my simple gesture was appreciated so much by the crowd. But, I guess the values of respecting elders learnt from my family is what automatically got awakened in this situation.

Most shops suggest many remedies but i would like to share some of my learnings.

Past history

We initially bought goldfish. But they could not survive for more than 2 weeks. When we enquired with the shop owner , we were told following reasons

- Healthy fish death is an indication that hey have taken away the evil spirits from home (according to chinese calendar) since it takes away the bad things happening at home

i happend to call another store, then they told me that possible death reason could have been due to

- excessive shocks. they could not tolerate the unhealthy water from taps. They advised to keep the water in sun for 4 days before putting it in acquarium

Well i do not deny the above findings, but the death of fish disturbed us. We were not willing to buy more fish since we did not another fish deaths at home. After researching for many weeks, we finally decided that we should try second time.

In the second phase of this journey, we bought pair of Molly. Today we have successfully been able to maintain the aquarium for more than more month and the fishes are healthy

Learnings

1. Aquarium needs to be cleaned once a week. But do not change the whole water. Make sure 30-40% of the old water is mixed with new water. This does give fish the shocks of new atmosphere

2. Give them food twice a day. Many fish owners told me that remove the food from aquarium, if fish do not eat it in 15 minutes since dissolved food can make the water dangerous. But i noticed that the fish eat food slowly and then need an hour to slowly eat

3. Contrary to what i was told (to add mixture of tap water and mineral water), the fish survive well in tap water. I have been using tap water and stopped using mineral water

4. Size of the food consumed varies based on the fish. Molly used food which are smaller sized compared to gold fish food

5.When you change water in aquarium, move the fish to another container. Let the container have the water from aquarium so that fish do not feel to much change. the same water can be added back to the aquarium.

So any of you have any experiences maintaining the aquarium. Would love to hear them out !!

Today kayaking india is becoming a prevailing sport on running rivers that are more extreme. Kayaking, by nature, forms a different character and a different assertiveness towards the river than does rafting, hard boating, canoeing, or cat boating. Some reasons why kayaking is growing so quickly worldwide are :

Kayaking is cheap. The kayaks themselves can range in price from the low hundreds to the low thousands. Also it takes it takes fewer resources to build a kayak, and in general are one of the more environmentally friendly boating activities.

Kayaks are also widely manageable. They can be handpicked up and transported by anyone unlike a canoe, which can take more than one person to move.

Kayaking is a very user-friendly kind of sport and it is easy to learn

One of the few water sports that is apt for people with all kinds of ability. This sport provides a chance to meet countless people and is apt for singles, couples and friends.

In addition to the above benefits, Kayaking is great exercise and gives you a view that really submerges you in the experience. It might not seem like the usual total-body workout, but it certainly warrants a spot on the workout list. Key health benefits of kayaking are

Paddling in the water and executing a good stroke is going to help tone every muscle in the upper body.

The core abdominal muscles are fortified in kayaking through the control of kayak. Turning the kayak relies on the shifting and turning of the core area of the body. Each turn of the kayak results in the use of abdominal muscles and, over time, builds these muscles.

Pressure applied by the legs assists in rotating and harmonizing the kayak. This constant clutching over time increases the strength of leg muscles.

The hurried movements involved in the sport are another benefit of kayaking as exercise. The continuous movement increases the heart rate and health.

We all learn different things in life. Sometimes we make use of this learning or sometimes we just do something that is different from what we have learnt.

It is important to learn/teach how to learn apart from understanding the content. In the fast changing world, what we learnt needs to be evolved or re-learnt. hence it is important to learn the art of learning rather than just the art of understanding. There is no denying of the fact that being a lifelong learner is more important to skillset to have in an adult rather than being just a learner.

Well a lot has been talked about this in different mediums. Here are some interesting collections

1. https://www.coursera.org/learn/learning-how-to-learn
This article talks about mental tools that anyone can develop to boost all four attributes—even those that are often considered fixed (aspiration, curiosity, and vulnerability).

As india is becoming digital, it is important that all of us understand its pros and cons. While pros are being debated openly, it is important that we understand the cons also. The most important con that worries me is "what happens if someone misuses the data"

Well they will have access to our personal information and it can be mis-used. For example someone can use this information to know our bank balance or access benefits given to us through our biometirc data or many more. There can be many such negative use cases. Hence it is important that we secure our biometric data.

To refresh your memory, following biometric data was collected from you befre AADHAAR CARD was issued:

Eye IRIS data

Facial picture

Finger prints/Thumb prints

Every user is unique. Hence it is important to secure this data. Inorder to secure this data you need to visit https://resident.uidai.net.in/biometric-lock and lock it.

Once you click on the above website, you need to enter 12 digit Aadhaar number and security code(captcha code). If the details are correct, OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. After entering OTP, on the next page you can lock the personal biometric data. If for some reason, in future you wish to unlock then the same process needs to be repeated.
India is one of the biggest automobile marketplaces in the world. It has approximately 15million cars and is continually developing.
Throughout ancient India, teachers have been respected a lot. Some of the teachers have produced some great students. According to me a teacher

Builds self awareness, unleashes inner potential and gives contents of things when it is right

Should have Right intent compared to right content

Has the ability to create "creators" and "destroyers"

But our education system has not been built upon this lineage to build great institutes.

During one of the training programs i was introduced to the concept of LOTS (least order thinking skills) and HOTS. The concepts of the study were interesting. It is during the discussion, i realized that baring very few institutes most Indian institutes lack HOTS

I had a roomie who used to shout vociferously every time he saw any games especially cricket. He also used to yell a lot of other interesting stuff but folks around him usually got annoyed. But he had big proportion of people who thought he was fantastic. He was famous with the name “Fantastico”. Detractors perverted fantastico and called him ‘sarcastico’. But fantastico was in demand when we needed a strong cheer leader and some inspirational talks. Lot of juniors saw him as a fantastic person and consulted him since they were inspired by him.

Being his roommate, I always observed him very closely. Here are some observation which set him apart from us

He believed in himself: To make others think you are fantastic you need to accept as true that you are fantastic. If you have little self-confidence it is doubtful that you will be able to be fantastic anytime.

He was fantastic to others: If you serve others and put them first, everyone will start to notice you

Be exciting: One thing that sets fantastic people apart is the fact they are great to talk to and are always around. A good way to do this is to meet people while they are walking around your office or college environment and show great excitement while waving your arms around.

Smile and be confident. If you don't feel happy or confident, fake it 'till you make it!

Live and breathe being fantastic. Do not ever stop. Anyone can pretend to be fantastic for some of days, but real fantastic person behaves the same way irrespective of any problem he/she faces.

Shortly after we passed out of school, I stopped hearing him yell. But Fantastico was a fantastic person and I was more curious about him then was needed. As we were leaving the hostel, I saw him talking to his image in the mirror. He was terrible and murmuring.

I stood unsure of next step. As my friends came by my thought process got deviated. Later I never bothered to find out what was going on his life. After few months passed, I heard that my roommate had had tried to kill himself, and someone had admitted him to the nearby Government hospital.
I was feeling guilty of ignoring him that day. I was unhappy and rather than visiting hospital, I decided to move on. As time passed, I grew older and was working in a industry. The stress had captured me and I did not want to disturb my family with my problems. Hence, I contacted a counsellor. When I went to meet him, he smiled and said hi. Wow ! It was my school room-mate Fantastico. I was shocked and happy. Two emotions when they mix, it is difficult to decide which one to show.

We talked for long on how he had moved on from the last day of schhol with the help of a counselor who not only helped him with his further studies but also helped him get a good job. He also showed me his family pictures. I was happy and the guilt sitting hidden inside me was done. I was happy, and with the help of my room-mate, I recovered enough to distress myself.
Fantastico and i live in same city, and often, especially during college gatherings and frequent cricket matches. I hear frequent yelling, “Shut up!Fantastico”! or “Come on!Fantastico”
“Make in India” is an international marketing campaigning
slogan coined by the Prime Minister of India.
With the aim to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill
development and protect intellectual property, the campaign aims to build a

When I did a quick search in twitter I got around 12627 records after scanning
around 10,000 tweets using NodeXL tool.

But the biggest challenges that manufacturing industry faces
today in India is skill development. The days of cheap Chinese goods are just
beginning. Most Chinese products are legally or illegally entering Indian
market and giving tough completion to the Indian producers. Though some have
issues with quality, the Chinese entrepreneurs are improving. Xiaomi is a best
example of a Chinese product that has founds it foothold in Indian market
without any brick and motor store. Go to any corner of Indian market in rural
or urban area, you will find retailers talking about Chinese goods.

In the backdrop of such heavy competition, it is important
that Indian manufacturing sector works on improving the skills of manpower to
meet the competitive forces of free economic market. As per a government
estimate, Manufacturing has the potential to add 9 crore jobs in the next ten
years. However this can only be attained if India focuses on skill improvement
and ease of doing business.

Initiatives must be taken for skill development to warrant
that skilled manpower is available for manufacturing. The manufacturing sector
cannot develop on its own without skilled labor force. The creation of suitable
skill would absolutely set rural immigrants and the urban poor on a track
towards comprehensive development. This would be a vibrant step for improving
manufacturing.

Skill growth and charting of skills to trades is an significant
striving that must be followed. Some associations such as Confederation of
Indian Industry (CII) has taken many initiatives in this area and trained many
workers with specific skills across sectors by embracing Industrial Training
Institutes (ITIs) and developing skill repositories. Besides, the New Ministry
for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has initiated the process of
revising the National Policy on Skill Development. Some of the achievable

Whenever a issue comes or something crops up that we cannot solve, then we say that there is a problem. But have you tried to define problem?

My defintion : A problem is something that causes obstruction in our normal routine or line of thinking

But according to Professor Mahesh Sharma ( founder and President of the Center for Teaching/Learning of Mathematics, Inc., of Wellesley and Framingham, Massachusetts, and Berkshire Mathematics in England ) who addressed us on "creative thinking and problem solving" the definition is : " Problem is a gap between vision and current reality'.

This is a simple definition that is no doubt precisely correct. We either adjust our vision or current reality to solve the problem. Continuing his insights he then next explained us about 5 different styles of thinking

Analyst - Compare correctness, meticulousness, and consideration to
detail with fullness. They are likely to collect data, measure it, classify
it, and reasonably and logically calculate the right answer to any problem.

Realist - Go by history and tradition

Pragmatist - looking for end all time. Guided by vision

Idealist - Guided by principles. Determined by history and tradition. Views from the system he belongs to

Synthesist - talk to several people and make decisions.

It is very important that as managers we have right balance of above thinkers. It is also important to retrospect ourself and see where we are. This was another great insightful talk for all of us.

From the first day in the class, one of the things that the college faculties has been trying to tell us is that knowledge is important. It is not only about the mugging up the books or getting good placements or getting high grades. Rather it is important to approach the one year MBA at IIM Lucknow with the aim to get knowledge. The challenges in real life as a manager are plenty. It is in this one year that we have to master those challenges of managerial world by gaining knowledge. Hence at different times the professors in our class are suggesting interesting readings. In this series i will be sharing some of these books which i have reads. This books are additional readings apart from the main text book and reference book given in the course syllabus.

The book 'The goal' was suggested to us by the professor who takes the Operation Management (OM) class. He claims to have read it multiple times and he still gets new insights when reads again. So i decided to take this book as the first one, since OM has lot of information related to production industry and i come from services industry.

On completing this book, i realized that all problems in this world have a simplified solution. We just need to simplify the problem in simple terms as much as possible so that we can understand it and then try to attack the problems/constraints/bottlenecks one by one to achieve the ultimate goal of any organization. Wondering what is the goal? Well it is making money. This book gives insights on how management thinking around the world can be changed and no doubt is one of the best selling book of business world.

Since the book is written in novel style, i was enriched and at the same time not much overloaded as i was becoming when i read the text book.this book has nicely depicted on how a plant manager saves his plant from getting closed by using the spark of thoughts provided school professor. he solves his professional and personal problems by

identify the constraints standing in the way of attaining goal

how this constraints are overcome one by one by analyzing the cause and effects of the action

how he made this team think logically and consistently about the problems

In the end things are happily resolved for the plant manager. i am happy to open my additional reading account and the same time get acquainted with new stuff. Next book that i plan to read is 'Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman'

Today i was fortunate to get enlightened on the concept of 'foundation of marketing strategy by understanding consumers". The lecture was delivered by Jerry Olson Professor Emeritus, who is the
is a founding partner of Olson Zaltman Associates and Professor Emeritus of Marketing at Penn State University.

One of the unique things that i learned from the professor is that human unconscious mind hold so much information, that this information can help firms make and decide on competitive strategy. In marketing deep insights are needed. This insights are captured from the sampled people by giving them set of images and then they are asked some generic questions.

Based on the response a pattern is tried to be built using the patented ZMET tools and other methods. Interesting as it sounds, future managers of my class were enthusiastics in throwing diverse question to the professor whose model is one of the most successful. Though the competitors are trying to replicate the model, they are not yet been successful in replicating the exact model.

The word that probably i will research more in coming days is metaphorsis analysis and how if it can be used to modify my questinaire in some of the upcoming projects. Overall the session left us inqistive and we hoped we had got more time to spend with the professor.

The case studies on how one company rebranded its marketing strategy just before the product launch based on the results of prof olson and his team OR how the architects of hospital redesigned the ambience to make their comfortable place are perfect examples of some of the successful outcome of this models. Having worked with most of the biggest brands using the expertise of associates/partners from across the globe, the professor and his team are doing a great job in extracting deep marketing insigts for the industry.

Once the results are out from the research, they look simple. However it is due to this patented framework that most research have been able to meet its desired outcome and prove its usage across different verticals of industry. Wikipedia has a nice read on ZMET methodlogy at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaltman_metaphor_elicitation_technique.

You can also see the work done by the professors company at http://www.olsonzaltman.com/

Book Review On Beyond the MBA Hype

MBA was the dream of mine.
Like the other applicants I too had‘what-if’ queries into my mind. Whether
pursuing MBA would really work or it would be just waste my money and also
waste my productive life time. So I started searching for the things to know
how the things revolve around the person when he is an MBA, when he is at MBA
and when he is after MBA. There were very positive and negative answers all
around. I also started to discuss at MBA forums. Everything was clear but still
there was one question at heart, can I make up the MBA? During my discussion
process I had figured out a book named as “Beyond the MBA hype” by Sameer
Kamat.

Before I start to review this
book, Let me introduced the author Mr. Sameer Kamat. He was working as an
engagement manager at IBM. Despite his high designation and high salary, he had
a lacking in his mind that was MBA.

There was much confusion in
his mind regarding MBA. After research he decided to do MBA and he chose the
University of Cambridge. Now he says that his took the right decision. So this
book is dedicated to those people who are in the similar dilemma as Sameer was.
I have passed the first phase and pursuing my MBA now from IIM lucknow.

This book helps the people to
solve up their queries regarding the MBA and achieve their goal. The writer
deals with the challenges and confusion that the applicants should able to
handle when opting MBA programme. I can say this book is same as a little hand
book that we used to have in our primary and secondary school.

Since we already know Mr.
Kamat has done his MBA , he talks about challenges. He says that there were many
active challenges related to pursuing an
MBA. But some challenges are such that nothing needs to done about it.

This book stats with the
introduction and statistics of colleges, student. Then another thing
highlighted is comparison between international and Indian MBA. The next chapter
talks about a simple question “Why Go for an MBA?” with lovely story of two friends’
sachin and mitu. How a friend motivates
his other friend to pursue a MBA programme. And thus story continues on every
new content.

Next content is the
application process. This encourages the student to apply for an MBA, deals
with how one can build up his MBA profile. The techniques of lectures, case
studies, individual projects, group assignments, guest lectures and industry
tours are also talked about.

Further comes the skill gap which
causes obstruction and the ways to overcome it. Networking is one effective
tool in corporate world especially during critical job hunting phase.
Internship might help you to get best of best opportunities that might be of
your interest from long term career perspective. Lastly book tells about career
hunt and career change. In the whole process, the author gives close look of the
academic life and also the tremendous issues faced by applicants on pursuing a
seat in B-schools.

Really this book has laid out
various issues and tells the students what to do and what not to do. I myself was
in big dilemma when I had started my hunt for MBA. To conclude, I can say that
this book is worth a read and going forward I have decided to share this book
with my colleagues/friends who are MBA aspirants so that they can have a better
future of their life. So friends grab one copy for yourself, read it and leave
your comments below.
